Min kärlek till kaffe har funnits i många år. Idén till att starta ett kafferosteri föddes sakta men säkert fram under mina år som turnerande musiker med mitt band Truckfighters.

ESPRESSO – Mellan/mörkrost Monumental

A creamy and nice espresso that also feels fresh with a hint of sweet notes. A modern take of espresso for those who are tired of the burnt flavors in espresso.

BRASIL – Cascavel Vermelha
This year’s Summer blend is a nice and smooth Medium roast with a Brazil (Cascavel Vermelha) Named for the rattlesnake, our Cascavel Vermelha (Portuguese for red) is a pulpy Brazil with lots of red fruit and refined sweetness. This coffee has been selected based on its fruity profile. In most cases, Natural processing connotes such flavors; however, this coffee may have some Pulped Natural contributions as well. Natural lots will be dried on large patios under sun, while Pulped Natural will be pulped and then laid to dry on patios. In both cases, the coffee will be raked and turned regularly to ensure even drying and a clean cup profile.
Taste attributes – Milk Chocolate, Nectarine, Plum, Sweet.

COLOMBIA – Santa Rita
The next coffee in this blend is a very clean and awesome washed coffee from Santa Rita, Colombia. This Organic coffee is the result of the hard work and effort of around 84 smallholder producers living in and around the town of Santa Rita in the municipality of Aipe in Colombia’s Huila Department. With a classic Nutella-like profile and plum fruitiness, this group lot is a great go-to for your seasonal espresso blend.

Each member of Asopcafa farms around 3.5 hectares (on average) and is responsible for processing their own coffee on their individual farms. Coffee is selectively hand-harvested, usually with the whole family pitching in to help, and then floated or sorted to remove any underweight or damaged cherries. The coffee is then pulped on small pulpers and fermented in tanks (usually tiled) for around 30 hours, depending on ambient temperature. After fermenting, the coffee is washed well in fresh water and is delivered to dry on solares (covered drying ‘tents’ or greenhouses) or rooftop elbas. Here the coffee will dry and be raked regularly for 12 to 18 days, or until it reaches around 12% humidity.

ETHIOPIA – Yirgacheffe
The Chelchele washing station is named for the kebele, or village, where the coffee is harvested. The growers from the surrounding community bring their cherries to this washing station at METAD’s farm in Gedeb, Yirgacheffe for further processing.

Our partners at METAD developed their Out-growers Program in 2013. METAD is a family-run business, with coffee at its roots for generations. They wanted to invest and support nearby coffee-growing communities through this program, which has grown to over 6,500 memberships across both regions in Hambela and Gedeb. There are currently 14 farmer associations, named after their kebele, with 7 in each region. Growers who are part of the program receive training from METAD’s team from the start. They are provided free seedlings and professional guidance at every stage of production, as well as pre and post-harvest training, to continue their professional development.

This coffee from the Chelchele kebele is grown at an elevation between 1800-2200 meters. It is a natural process, dried on raised beds. An organic coffee, METAD has certified not only its own farms and processing plants but also the farms of those participating in the out-growers program.

METAD’s values are driven by the community and environment. They reinvest a portion of their profits back into the community for initiatives that include building clinics, funding the local elementary school,  and constructing wells as a source for drinking water. They are committed to environmental sustainability, practicing protection methods in wet processing to avoid ground and water pollution, and including intercropping farming techniques and crop pollination.
